I have to have a c-section so barring that I don't go into labor before this day, Baby Jackson will arrive on June 10th, 2008 at around 8 am. It is unique to decide her birthday but a little unusual thought process as well.
We are still searching for a name. We keep coming up with names and then find some reason to not like it. I guess I have six weeks and however long I want to stay in the hospital.
My ultrasound last week indicated that everything was moving along well and that she is progressing as needed.

embarrasing moments
For those of you who don't have toddlers who think they are 25 just wait.
Sat. we were at Kohl's. Jared was having some problems behaving. I told him that if he didn't stop he and I were going to have issues. Before I could say anything else he turned to me and said mom I have already have issues and fell down to the ground with the cart on top of him. I was completely embarrassed and everyone around us thought he was adorable.
Sun. again we were shopping only this time at Wal-Mart. He was climbing on a display that had an air compressor on it. I told him to quit because the compressor might fall off and hurt him. He turned to the guy working at Wal-Mart and said "if I am not careful that thing might fall of and freakin' squish me." Number one Freakin' is not part of our vocabulary so I was completely shocked and then he told the worker. Again everyone laughed and he thought he was cute.
You never know what will come out of the mouths of babes so you best be careful what you say around them.

Some new soccer pics
I am not sure we will ever have warm soccer weather. This was a couple of weeks ago, but as you can see it still took long sleeves under our soccer shirt.
My sister-in-law took these pictures. My family thinks the picture with the other little boy looks just like me, hands on the hips surveying the best method, and probably bossing if we could hear what he was saying. One important thing though the soccer game is going on and they aren't paying attention one bit!. I don't know if that would have been me or not, because they didn't offer sports for 4 year olds when I was that young. (We won't talk about how long ago that might have been).
The other is with Haley after the game. As you can see she doesn't like him one bit.

Easter
Well, so much for buying new clothes for Easter. Jared woke up Sunday morning with a 103 degree temperature. We didn't get to go to church, but instead went to the doctor. We did stop by my aunts to grab a bite to eat (and by the way expose everyone to whatever he had). We went home to spend a miserable few days with a fever. He is much better now.

My wonderful Child
Now what mom would not say the same thing about their child as my title. I know you all probably get tired of the Jared stories, but just think in a few months you will get tired of two Jackson children stories.
Just another cute story by Jared. We were going to church yesterday and were just shooting the breeze when Jared piped up from the back, "mom, dad, do you know the true meaning of Christmas and Easter?" Of course trying to get him to tell us what we knew we said "NO". He then told us that Jesus came to live with us on Christmas, and that he was God. He said then just a few moments later we had Easter. That is where Jesus' friends did not like him and they put him on a cross. He died, and then the Angel had the power to move the rock to show us he was not there. Then out of no where he said. I think all of this took just six days.
I am so thankful for his understanding of the meanings of life. We are thankful that he cares enough to listen. However we also realize how young and nieve he is when he puts a time frame like 6 days on it.
If I don't get a chance to blog before Easter, we hope that everyone has a wonderful time with whom ever they are sharing the day with. We also hope that Easter is more than the Easter Bunny (even though that is a lot of fun) for each of you and that you will be able to celebrate the resurrection of the perfect lamb.
